This was a substantial addition and alteration to a single-level timber cottage in inner Sydney, Australia designed by architect Rex Addison. The land fell away to the back and allowed the photographer/client a studio downstairs, a living room addition just above the original floor level of the cottage, and bedrooms in the roofscape with views out to the harbour.
