The cinema comprises 3 Houses of total 250 seats. This ‘Boutique’ design concept is a strategic solution addressing the emerging consumer behavior pattern of urban people spending less and less time at home, but more willing to spend time with friends outside home.

Windsor is the first boutique cinema in Hong Kong with all essences of boutique experience — “feel like at home”, from gathering patio area to high-end comfy sitting, it is all about to provide & feel like home away from home.

“Foyer as Living Room”, a blossoming flower from wall to ceiling creates dialogue with the outside world, while separated from the hustling & bustling city; “Auditoria as bedrooms”, where spacious couch-like seating plus state of the art AV systems, creating a trendy home-like cinematic experience for those in search of a home away from home.

A subtle blossoming phenomenon, made out of GRP composite, inherently growth from earthy marble wall is the centre piece of the design. Light reflecting off the surfaces at various angle and different planes are tuned to optimize the visual effect of making the 3D profile of more reveal.

The blossoming effect penetrates into every stage of boutique experience from the box office to every design details in the cinema premises so that it is overwhelming with this dynamic “Green” live.

The flowing per-weathered zinc sheet ribbon crisscrossed between the sculptural flowers creates an accent of boutique senses. In contrast with the glass-feature screen, provides a perfect backdrop for the blossoming flower lay next to the twinkling water reflection.
