The monument was designed geometrically (canonical), in clear and simple, but multifaceted and ambiguous:
- A floating solid volume on the level of; - Connection to the city, an important presence and speech passer- > object identification;
- Interior - a place of contemplation, tribute, memory, understanding, in contact with the sky, isolation from its surroundings > object isolation and meditation; - Subspace - covered market at street level, weight room space wars, victims of gravity, weight absurdity of war, weight loss and weight resolution.
Memory space is a space of concentration, contemplation, meditation, among the treetops, but isolated from the everyday life of the city. Peaceful meditative space is designed for people of all beliefs every day, with a view to promoting peace and freedom as opposed to the war.
Trees are an important spatial element that shape both inside (crown and soft in contrast to the strict geometry) as a subspace (incidence as thick as a virtual vertical support bearing gap).
Both rooms are also changing in accordance with all phases of design and color changes in leaves and whole trees. The concept includes three existing chestnut trees that are present in the area for many years and they are actually the primary tree species, trees of the park Zvezda.
Access to the memory space represents a particular spatial experience emotional and spiritual cleansing of memory and a reminder of the futility of war and the memory of all the victims in the whole territory of Slovenia.
Buoyed by the central public space in the city enters memorio history. The sequence of entering the interior space built on a series of specific extreme feelings.
One thus it is closer to the stairwell and placed under the volume of the monument feels the weight of his head prastrah at raising the staircase begins to enter an extremely narrow (1.2m) tall and space (14m), which gives a feeling of stiffness, anxiety, and then enters the huge memory space - the space of purification.
The mission of the monument is to inspire people to take action through art and contemplation, to foster respect for the highest aspiration of humanity.
