The Peking architectonic bureau MAD has placed the first series of spherical designs, annexes to traditional huts in a city.
The first vial has received name Hutong Bubble 32.
In a metal sphere the W.C. and a stairway — just everything is established that was necessary for addition of traditional constructions. Such spheres are offered to be multiplied on all country to improve living conditions of usual citizens.
For the first time the object has been presented at an exhibition to Venice in 2006 year. It was one of three projects of studio. MAD have imagined, what will be Beijing in 2050 year; green park, a series of flying islands, or spherical public lavatories. After three years the first ball has appeared in a small Chinese court yard.
Rapid development of China has caused considerable changes of city landscapes. The architecture is based on chaotic, spontaneous innovations which globally change residential districts. In addition, hygienics requirements because of what chaotic constructions become global urbanistic accident are not observed. Hutongs become especial entertainment for rich tourists.
Authors of the project consider that for situation improvement any global measures are not required; to provide component parts which will be will take root into general chaos enough and to order it. Magic vials operate as a magnet, involving the new people, new activity, resources which change shape of the whole neighbouring communes.
